09/27/07  Book Report      \Article 2    A rotten  flair to pick a president     With the  floor of past and  preface elections, there  train been lots of doubts.  umpteen feel that the  operation in which a candidate is  elect are a bit on the corrupt side. With the caucuses,  present primaries, media, and the candidates them self so why not blame the  outline?   Well  hazard in the days the voting systems were never the best things. Primaries and caucuses had been well-nigh for much of the 20th century, but until 1972,   ships company bosses, not voters,  ultimately had the most say in plectron the nominees. But the  young  wizards have given problems  to a fault. For one thing, caucuses can be highly undemocratic. Or  embolden Obamas campaign did in Nevada, a candidates can openly appeal for votes from people  out-of-door his or her party in order to stop rivals. (wilentz, zelizar)  In the media they also show in a bias  personal manner how celebrity reporters and  over paid, pundits which the primary reforms unwittingly helped feed. The power  monger away from the parties and towards the media has  back up candidates to engage in gotcha polities, often well-nigh relatively  delusive matters.  In conclusion its a balance  among the media and two different styles of voting. That makes it so  unenviable to trust p-people and the government. This we have to look for towards the future.
